is a turbo a good idea?

got an 85 with 22r 5sp, just wondering if anybody has had bad experiences with a turbo on it, i was thinking about putting one on, found one for 50 bucks and thought why not?

It takes more than a turbo to make a turbo work on an engine. you need larger injectors, a computer that`s tuned to deliver the extra fuel, or a stand a lone tuner, and much more to make it all work. So adding a turbo isn`t cheap.

I agree, it does take more then just a turbo. also the OP stated it is a 22r, did not say 22re. So the larger injectors would be non applicable
