New PS pump...won't flush...nothing out return

1985 4x4 yota is giving me reason to drink! I rebuilt my PS pump with a kit full of o-rings and such. Re-installed and burned it up. Fluid didn't go through it. Bought a reman pump and then drained the reservoir and cleaned the screen. Refilled with Dexron II/III and then followed pump instructions to flush and bleed. Got nothing out return line during flush. Hours and hours later I check YotaTech and all I find is reiterations of the same instructions. I need a solution. Any ideas?

Update: I used some pieces from my mityvac brake bleed tool and after removing return from reservoir, I just turned the wheel a few times and then suctioned the return line until fluid came out. I reattached the line to the reservoir. I topped it off and road tested it. Good as ever.
