emissions deletion????????
I have just had my 22r rebuilt and I want to know if I can get rid of all the emissions stuff on and around the carb? I live in a place where they dont test for emissions and I want to get rid of it. Can someone point out a place or give me a link? Thanks. Oh and also I was taking the intake manifold off today and the coolant spilled off into the cylinders is this a bad thing????

I have pulled almost all of mine. Tearing it out made a difference in my friends 79. I did not get to tell a lot of difference in mine, but I have been chasing an overheating problem round and round. Turned out to be a blown HG and then cracks between the valves in the head between the 2 and 3. My engnbldr head and 261C cam should be here today. Yeah!!
Got all of my block off plates from LC. I can't remember the total cost, but I think that it was under 30 for the 3 that I needed.

leave it be it's your gas mileage, the fuel idle selenoid is controlled by all the vacuum switches, if it gets stuck closed it won't idle , open it will get 10 mpg no matter what. lose the air pump and the egr keep the vaccuum switches and the temp controlled vaccuum , my first toyota was an 82 california model took me two years to undo the damage of the removal, or just replace with a weber
think about it 10mpg or 18/28
