Check Connector

I have a 1985, 1Ton, pickup truck with a 22-REC engine and I am trying to find the location of the check connector so I can check and adjust the timing. The local dealer gave me an approximate location, but I don't see anything there. I am not a mechanic but I do enjoy working on my own vehicles. Can anyone tell me where this connector is located in the engine compartment? Thanks.

Thanks. I saw those two rubber insets but there is nothing in them. The connectors must be lying on the inner well. I'll check it out.
