Carb rebuilders question
Hey all
I am cleaning my carb on an 85 pickup 22R. Is there supposed to be a thin gasket between the insulator plate and the intake? I have called the toyota dealer and he wants to sell me the insulator plate but says he doesn't have a gasket. I went to Oreilly's and they have a Walker number but not sure they can get it. I got a carb mounting gasket that is about 2 1/2 by 3" but only one hole. The walker one is two holes and a cutout just off center for emissions tube. When I took off the carb there was about a third of a thin paper gasket that had to be scraped, but no one seems to be able to figure out what gasket it is. Any help would be great.
