34 dgec rebuild for 7000ft
First Post!! I enjoy the website and have been reading quite a bit (the 3.4 swaps make me drool). Now my first question...
Picked up this truck
For all of 800 dollars. Previous owner just installed a weber 34 dgec and couldn't get it to run right. Now it is my turn.
It won't idle and it is running way rich. I have backed the idle as much as I can as a temp fix, but it isn't cutting it. I am at 7000 ft elevation and want to get this thing to run. I have been googling 34 dgec tuning tips, rebuild kits, jets and so on and haven't locked in an answer. I wish I could afford to just go propane, but that isn't an $option$ right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Called weberparts direct and they are sending out a "high altitude" tuning kit. there are no parts listed on their website for the 34dgec, but they have them if you call them.
