Warn Brush Guard/winch mount
Hello!
I bought an 83 from a local scrap metal dealer, it did not run, stop or have lights, now its a daily driver.
Thing is, it has mounts for a warn brush guard, like the one on my 85, but it was gone when I bought the truck along with the emblems on the fenders, gear shift lever and center dash bezel.
I found a pic of the truck, when still owned by previous owner and YotaTech member shaunbacon, here;

Anyone have a warn brush guard they want to get rid of or donate!?
Best,
Nate

looking at the set up on that thing it doesn't look to me like a properly set up winch mount, one that was probably hacked to make work, the lower mounts look nothing close to the warn winch mount stability that I had on my '86 4Runner.
the lower mounts look cheesy...even looked torqued down in the pic

Totally Dropzone! This poor old truck has a lot of issues, if I wasn't such a sucker for orphans, I would have left it on the scrap heap.
For one, a previous owner put a weber 38 on and left both valve cover vents open, now I read that this makes oil leak from all the weakest places and it did! Now with proper crank vent, most leaks have actually stopped. Interesting to see how much pressure these little engines make internally.
For now I'm just trying to put things right again on the old girl, a brush gaurd with the same patina and wear as the rest of the truck would be a good fit.
