Not sure how mechanically inclined you are, but if you have a welder (or a buddy with a welder) it's not that hard to make something basic if you're going for function more than looks. Although I just tried the Rustoleum Professional Enamel spray paint and it makes anything look great, even my crummy welded bumper! Total cost for my rear bumper was $15 using scrap metal from the local welding shop, plus about 3 hrs of time including paint. A front guard might be a bit more, but probably not much.
