1982 toyta trekker

hey, im new to this site, but i thought it looked like a pretty good place. i own 3 toyota trucks, and i was wonderin if somebody could tell me the aproximate value of one of them. i am not looking to sell it i just want to know what its worth. it is a 1982 toyota trekker. all origonal the body is in VERY good shape, i can see my face in the chrome on the grille and bumper, however the interior nees to be completly reapolsterd, there is no rot in the floor or anything, and the motor is cooked, i have a motor, tranny and tcase from another truck i am gonna put in it, but as it is could anybody guess how much its worth?

i am also wondering if the fiberglass topper is removeable or not, i havent had time to go out and investigate yet because the truck is out at a friends ranch.

thanks-

the trekkers are rather rare, they aren't some 10 grand find but they arer very collectable, as there weren't many made.

I have seen a few on e-bay lately and they never even sold -- seems everybody wants one but not enough to buy one

Sounds like a good deal to me and you even have something collectable, as to sale pricing I think part of the reason they don't sell so fast is that the average person does'nt know what it is and the ones that do either live too far from the seller or the seller wants too much for it.

Good deals are in the eyes of the beholder -- If you are happy with it i'd say you got a great deal!

Well, as to what it's worth...a wise man once told me, "Something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it". That may apply here...
