If you're going the HF route, you might want to use pipe rather than tube. The bends might come out better.

I have the old rim laying around, actually, but at a 15" diameter, that is a 7.5" radius, which might be too long of a radius to get around my corners on my Runner.

Of course, I'll post pictures!!



The above might be a bit cool to have done, and it is made by Downey Off-Road, but unfortunately it has been distontinued, so I am outta luck there.. Hey, that might actually save me a few dollars, since I'd have to order a new bumper to replace my current trashed one.

Ah, I can fab up some sheetmetal to look like that, anyway.. So no worries! As for bending, I might have to head on out to nearby (yeah, right) Billings to pick up an HF bender, but I think that I might have to choke my pride down and go to an offroad fab shop and PAY to have the bending done... About 100-120 bucks, depending on the number of bends and depending on the shop themselves...
