Stone Coal Gap(Broad Run) Va
Well, I thought I would post some pics up of our fun this weekend. This is normally just a pleasure trail with small creek crossings and a few mud pits. Well friday night it was poring down rain and made things a little interesting for us on sat. Enjoy the pics.
There were 5 vehicles that went. My 90 4runner(out of this picture) Renegades 4runner, a heep, a stock frontier and a stock silverado. As you can see it started out pleasent enough.
Micah(Renegades) having some fun in the mud.
Me
And here we start to run into more trouble...
ok, that waws not that bad.. but at the last crossing.... I could see water on my widshield...
She did make it through though...
More pictures can be found at these two links. link 1 link 2
All in all it was a fun time.. with 0 damage reports and 0 injuries.

bobcat is a good trail..a little too short though!
Man, if u plan on doing h20 crossings that often defintely get a snorkel...there could of been major damange!
Also, check/drain/refill your diff fluid...there might of been some water that leaked in
Awesome pics man!...where exactly is that? Im itchin to go wheeling as soon as i fix my junk

Jeremy:
We could just pick a place to meet you up there. Maybe somewhere on prices fork.
Micah:
Chris is not going to be coming with us this time. He is finalizing some wedding plans this weekend.

John, there are two ways to get to it. I don't rememember street names at the moment to get to it through botetourt. Send me a pm and before you come down next time and I can hopefully give you better directions that way.
The easiest way to tell you would be to get on 311 and turning on "Broad Run Rd." It runs right beside a cedar/log looking convenient store about 3 miles from Dragons tooth, 6 or 7 miles from the homeplace. It is part of Jefferson National Forrest the trail runs from botetourt to catawba not too far from potts. Like I said though. It is usually a peaceful trail with a couple small creek crossings and a bunch of side trails to play in.
Next time you come down let us know and I'll make sure to make hit a few trails with ya.
