Laptop wont' turn on

I'm on the road traveling right now and I pulled my laptop out of the case and it won't turn on. When I plugged it in the charge light won't come on. I took the battery out and put it back in, tried another plug in, all the obvious stuff. It's an HP and less than a year old. What happened to it?? It's stressing me out I have alot of pics that I don't have backed up on there. Any ideas??

My Dell did something like that but come to find out someone busted the center pin on my Ac adaptor.

But i could get it to boot when it was plugged directly in not running on battery. looks like you are no bueno either way.

Sounds like MB. It doesnt sound like the Drive is at fault, so worst case you should be able to boot it up using a 3.5 case. I have one here somewhere, or you can get one at Fry's for like $20. Had to do that a couple times on past laptops.

Try leaving it plugged in for an hour or so, then re-trying. My HP did something similar when I ran the battery dead dead dead... (after several days of standby on an already low battery) It would not respond at all when I first plugged it in, but after awhile, it came right back up.

Good luck-

i agree on the let it sit plugged in for a while. as for the recovery, that should be easy, pick up an 2.5 external case and take the hd out, and now you have a XX Gig portable drive with all your stuff on it. let me know if you need any more help.
