installed my cobra 75!

wow. a Lift, MTR's and a CB. that's a log way from this:





oh, and if you want to be able to remove the CB mic, you can put the "plug" in the little cubby hole next to the ash tray.

you can see where mine is to the left of the air suspension gauge and under the lighter...

Not only all that, but he even removed the running boards!!! It is definitely looking pretty nice...now if only we could get him to give up the brushguard that is slowly mangling the front end...

great idea. my friend who used to install cbs and decks for people all the time put it in for me behind that panel... im gonna take the panel off and redo it all, im not really happy with it as is right now.

thanks for the pic, ill look into it. do you have a writeup or anything?

no writeup. it's easy enough and the destructions that came w/ the CB tell you how to mount it that way.

that plate, screws, and the rubber grommet came w/ the CB to mount the plug like that. that way the mic is removable.

i just bought the same cb for my truck and was wondering how to plug the wiring (from the little box) into the fuse box, any help and pics would be appreciated.

Honestly, the fuse box is "dirty power". To mount it correctly, you should run your power wire and ground wire to your battery direct. This will prevent any opportunity for electrical intereference in your new radio's recieve.
