Subwoofer Enclosure in my Truck Bed?

The ones I have seen were a pass through enclosure in which you cut a hole in the bakc of your cab and the front of thebed and the subs are mounted fireing to the inside. from the outside, it just looks like a box. From the inside you can peer down the hole and see the subs fireing inside. Really involved project if you were to go this rout but the Db inside the cab could be very high depending on what subs you ran. You could have 4 15s if you wanted too.

I probably won't be doing any cab porting. But will I still feel bass within the cab, with the subs in the bed? Sometimes, the bed can get dusty. This would harm the subs, wouldn't it? Could I seal them up, or would that hurt the performance of the sub? Thanks.

I wouldn't recomend putting subs in the bed without a cab port. Since it will end up beeing much louder outside than inside, you have a good chance of getting busted for noise. You may be able to hear the bass a little but you won't be able to feel the bass which I think is the main reason for subs in the first place. If I were you, I would get a custome enclosure for a pair of tens behind your seat if it is mathmatically possable. If not, I would go with 3 or 4 8" subs instead. Sine the air space in your cab is very small, you really don't need a pair of 15s to get some serious bass. Two 8s in a standard cab can be very loud and very secure since they are compleetly hidden by the seat.

Sounds like a plan! Do they make subwoofers like the size of 6x9 speakers? Cuz I can fit 6x9 boxs behind my seats, but thats about it.

8's are as small as they come but if a 6x9 fits, there should be a way for 8's to work. You should be able to get a custom box built for about $100 per sub so like $300 for 3 subs or you could try your hand ant building youre own.
