Rattling noise when subs hit certain levels?

Alright, i have change(coins) in my cup holder, and all my cds have been taken out cept for like 3(MP3 cds gotta lovem) alright, now when my subs hit on certain songs i hear a Rattling noise comming from the subs, now i have 2 10'' Flame Compression Subs, peak 2000watts apiece anyways, i dont know what is causing the rattling, its kinda noticable, and i dont really know how to spot where it is coming from without sticking my ear in the sub while its up? how can i find it? their is the Logo Audiobahn mounted in the center of the sub not touching i thought it might be that but i turned them off and i sorda wiggled it and it didnt move so i canceled that out...........

Sealed or ported box? If it's sealed, it could possibly have a leak somewhere. If it's ported, is there anything inside/around the box that the air could be moving around?

its ported, im thinking its somewhere around the screws, that hold the sub in place , or holds my amp in place, i reall hope i am hoping and praying that my subs didnt knock something lose inside my amp, that is also screwed into the box.....i hope its not, if it is then Radioactive is gonna be buying me another amp! and something else im gonna start doing is installing all my electronics from now on and out!

It's pretty common, though not advisable, for people to mount their amps to the sub enclosures without any mishaps, so I would'nt be looking there.

I'd check the mounting screws and perhaps look into applying a seal around the woofer's mounting flange as an additional precaution.

Play a song that you know will make it rattle... then turn your gain down a little, play the same song and see what happens.

Thats a good check to see if it is the subs. If I'm not mistaken when the subs rattle it means a blown voice coil.

Distortion is the biggest killer. They can still blow if they are underpowered. As long as you got clean sound coming through them rather than loud sound then you are good.

i have a bass knob that lets me know when i am over powering them ( it goes red) what will the sound kinda sound like if they are distorting? would it just be a clean hit, like when i play "im a king" or "ASAP" they do quick hits.. and i hear no rattling, but when it comes to like "Laffy taffy" and it hits or "oh i think they like me " it sorda rattles so i turn it down a lil
