lexus nakamichi in a 4runner?
looking to upgrade my stereo system in my 1994 4runner, but want to keep it STOCK looking.
so my question is:
could i take a factory nakamichi/pioneer HU from, say a, lexus ls400 or sc300/400 and plug and play it into my 94 4runner??
and also i know my stock HU in there now does not play burned CD's, does anyone know if the lexus 6 disc changer can play burned CDs??? or if i would need a later model of disc changer?
anybody got a ls400 with the nakamichi 8" woofer? is it nice or is it hippity hoppity high school parking lot fast and furious cool kid bump BUMPs?

Lexus wiring is WAY different than a Toyota. If you can wire it up.....good on ya.
You will also have to heavily modify your radio surround. Lexus radios are MUCH bigger and have an odd shape to them. Its really not worth the swap IMHO. You will get better sound without having to cut the dash by going with an aftermarket unit. YOu also will have options like Ipod connectivity, MP3 player, AUX inputs, etc etc.
Summary;
Possible- Yes, anything is possible
Plug and Play- No, not by a long shot
Worth it- Not at all
