just find a hole in the back of the firewall where your feet go and look for any rubber gromet to put it through.

or drill your own and put a grommet in it....you can get them at any hardware store. Mine is the red wire. Sorry for the bad focus.

In my truck, there was an opening on the passenger side. If you aren't that fortunate, what I've done in the past with other vehicles is locate a rubber plug in the firewall that may be covering a hole for an optional accessory and cut an X in it with a utility knife. You can then run the wire through that and maybe seal it up with RTV or something.

I ran a 4 gauge wire through the firewall grommet, but now since i've upgraded to 0 gauge, i drilled a hole beside the firewall grommet and ran the wire like nieuwendyk-25

^^^ Look at the bigger rubber grommet on that pic. There should be one on your passenger side. In my truck I just took an "all", pokey thing, and poked a very small hole under the big wire and then forced my 8 gauge through the really small hole. Being such a large wire for such a small hole, it was very waterproof. If your running thicker wire then you can make a bigger hole if you have to, or use a knife and make an X like the other guy said.
If you have not done it yet.
