TinMan's new rear tube bumper build

There hasn't been anything new going on in the Fab Shop for a while, so I thought I would post a little of my new bumper build.

Started out with some .25" plate. Cut some brackets with a plasma.

Then cleaned up a little and put in some shackle holes.

Welded on the mounting nuts for the frame.

Overall.

Then cut cut some tube, and the receiver, welded it all in.

I still need to put some reenforcement on the plate. planning on some 1/4" between the tubes, and the mounting nuts. Kind of like Dirtco did on his.

I would like to eventually end up with a fold down tire carrier like his also.

I plan to have it completed this weekend.

Yeah man me to things are moving slow. Money and time are always an issue. I was hoping to have it done this weekend, but ended up not having any time to work on it. The center is done all reinforced, just need to do the outside body pro and paint maybe this weekend. But it looks like I will be placing the cam in the new 94 pickup before I have time to finish the bumper.
