All good...I have yet to do this but I'm assuming that you have to take apart the harness going to that side. I don't think it'll be all that bad to do, I'm also considering getting the plastic wire wrap to protect it better.

i really want to do this mod as well i really like how this one was done real good job nothing half @ss but to move the wires to the other side can you use just any wire? (speaker wire ect.) anything that i should know or is it as easy as just cut and crimp and will this work with an 82 supra afm??

I used a pair of 4 conductor intercom/ophone wire cables and Molex connectors to move mine:

By using mating connectors on each end, I was able to check my wiring after cutting the AFM cable and prior to moving the air box. Then just check the extension cable pin for pin for continuity assures no wiring problems once the box is moved (one connector circled in green):

wow you did a realy good job used the stock air box and didnt think of that one what kind of conector did u use sircled in green for the afm it look perfect clean and eligant oh and what about those 2 connectors on the throttle body and connected to the afm were did u pick those up at??

i just looked up the 4 conductor microphone cable DAMN some of those are like 150 bucks do i need anything like that or can i just get the junk doller a foot stuff?? good wright up on that link thanks deffinatly should of read that b4 my last post but im still interested in were u got those black addapters that connect to the throttle body and the afm

It was some 4-conduction phone/microphone/intercom station type wire from Radio Shack:

I used it because I had some in my garage and it was already sheathed so I did not have to mess with wire loom, etc.

It looks like you have a K&N Filter on there. How did you eliminate the originall intake box? I belive my sensor is on the top of the black intake box so how did you re arrange it?

Just out of curiosity, does the MAF have to stay level? We were thinking of doing a cold air intake on my brother's 2wd 22RE, but without moving the battery. I was thinking about having the intake tube come right off the throttle body, and going straight down with a filter behind the valance. This poses the problem of where to mount the MAF...thus bring up my question of whether the sensor needs to stay levle or not....
