pics of flipped u-bolts

As another tinkering project, I think I'm going to flip the u-bolts on my 2000 Taco. I really don't need to, but like the clean look of the rear axle after the flip. Can you guys that have flipped your u-bolts provide some pictures of your finished project? I'm interested in seeing how you mounted the drivers side shock tabs to the axle housing. The brake line passes right through the area where it looks like you would need to weld the shock tabs on. Thanks!

not a taco but same basic idea..might help you out

my truck is using the TG rear shock mounts mounted to the axle housing.
I am sure you could fab something up to mount the lower shock mount to the spring plate...

Thanks for the pics, that is a nice set-up. I guess I forgot to mention, I want to keep the upper shock mount in the same position and just relocate the lower mounting tabs to the axle housing so I can flip the u-bolts. For the drivers side, this will position the shock tabs right in line with the brake lines.

Anyone have pics of this setup? Thanks.

Wow dont know how I missed this..

Here's mine.

I have the Allpro 3" rear kit, I upgraded to the 5150's, Kit came with the flip kit and lower shock mounts..
The shocks came with general chevy bushings that had to be switched to the yota ones that came in the whole kit in order to fit on the upper stock mounts.

Love the ubolt flip, Without it the damn crap hangs below the pumpkin, no the pumpkin is the lowest point on the axle..

Sorry it took so long to reply..
