NorthernTool Trailer Blueprints?

Has anyone ever bought the trailer blueprints from NorthernTool to build your own trailer? If so, were they worth it & was it cheaper than just buying a trailer? Thanks for any input.

I have not bought any of these blueprints, The trailers they make seem kinda cheap IMO. The best thing to do is go to a local weld/fab shop. Most of them can build you a trailer if they know what they are doing. I did this when I was a welder. And its usually the cheapest. Then you can have it custom built to your exact needs as well. Just my 2 cents

Me and Pop's have gotten some.
We have built one so far a handfull of years ago to take motorcycles to Laguna Seca.

Trailer can be cheaper if you can do all the required work. Welding cutting, ect.
And if you have a materials connection it helps alot.

We built a flatbed two axle trailer and have maybe a 1k in it. Going rate around here was 3-4k for the samething.

With the currently insane price of steel I would look used. I see them all the time for cheaper than I can get all the parts for.

if yoru local scrap yard lets people browse the stuff then you can usually make a trailler for next to nothing. I see a yota pickup rolling around my town that has a sas and 36s he went and got a yota box and rear half of a frame from a truck totaled from the front and then did the same lift as the rear of his truck, except he used a trailer axel. Runs the same rims, tires and paint as the truck so it looks awesome. I guess its all opinion on trailers and depends alot on what you wanna hual.
