How to make 1" coil spacers
I was wondering how you guys would sugest I make a set of coil spacers for my 2nd gen. Should I make them out of steel, aluminum or mabe nylon? What would be the best way to machine/ cut out the hole in the center? Anyone interested in a set if I figure out a cheep way or making them? Pictures of coil spacers and dimensions would be helpfull.

Hey guys,
DOWNEY makes 1.5 inch spacers... I got them to sell me just the spacers without the rest of the kit for $40 plus $8 shipping..
I had the DOWNEY springs on my 1990 runner, they were great, but I wanna see if I can do it on my 1995 for cheaper, and retain my stock ride and shocks.
I'll let you know how it goes... I'm sick of looking like I'm towing an airstream when there's nothing back there...
