I'm putting the glass back in and making the tail gate under the window kind of seal it off like a taco.

just curious why you didn't pull the inner plastic moulding before starting the work?

I did remove it but threw it back in back drove it a few times before welded back frame back in it now has diamond plate on the sides

Subscribed. I was seriously thinking about doing that to my 4Runner but just couldn't decide if it would look good or not. So far yours is looking good and I am anxiously waiting for your next post with updates. Just might change on mind on selling it now.

Nice. So you are still able to put the rear window up and down from the console switch?

Yes window still works doesn't go all over down because the wheelwell

Sorry it's hard to get a picture in the garage but I have another factory tailgate that I am using so technically it has to tailgates
