if the cressida had a manual transmission your W56 will bolt to it's bellhousing. trannies were pretty much the same, but had a different bellhousing

you need to find a bellhousing from a 5 speed (look for a bellhousing from a early supra)
I just picked up my 5mge for my 81 but i have the w56 trany in my truck and second gen locked rear end. so to sum it up you need 5 speed bellhousing and to drill the motor hole and wiring harness/ecu |
