well im getting skids and sliders soon and an arb or tjm will follow, so ill be in your same boat.

plus, im on the heavy side so ill help

like you said, i've never tried them, but from everything that i've learned from this board and in real-life application, adding spacers to a prograssive coil isn't all that desireable...

interestingly, wheelers offroad offers a daystar kit that includes a "high quality, progressive wound coil set for the rear."

I have always "heard" it wasn't a good idea either. I guess it's another Web Wheeler myth.

I decided to do it right the first time... spend the money once vs. twice:

Rear:
OME 891 Coil Springs
OME N86 Shocks (firm)

Front:
Total Chaos Upper A-Arms
Donahoe Racing (extended, adjustable) Coilovers (2.5" shock)
New sway bar bushings
Revtek 1" diff drop spacers

Tires:
265/75 R16 Toyo Open Country MTs (32" tire)

Wheels:
TRD Ivan Stewart 16x8" w/ 4.5" off set

The ride is incredible. It corners awesome. Rides better than stock. Doesn't bottom out. And flexes nice too!!
