New Suspension for 1984 pickup
I am trying to decide what to do to rebuild my '84 truck after being in a wild gas station accident that destroyed the rear half of my truck. It was on 5" springs and 35's, but I want to go to 4" springs.
I'm trying to decide between a complete front and rear kit from Trail Gear, All Pro or Marlin Crawler. I will be buying very soon, so if anyone has any good info or experience with any of these kits, please let me know.
The only problem I have with these is that the rear springs aren't rated for heavy loads because I haul my sled around in the winter, that's about 500 lbs. I've thought of also adding some air bags to help with the weight. Thanks for any help.

I will post them here. I also just bought the Trail Gear set up, front and rear, because it came with wheel bearings and seal kits.
What happened was this old woman drove straight through a 25mph intersection at about 50-60mph and drove directly into my truck.
The frame is still good, so I'm rebuilding, by the end it should be a better truck than before it was hit.

I was thinking of using some air bags or just adding an extra leaf in the rear packs. An added coil spring sounds really cool though, and I could make a setup so it could be put in and out quickly for when I had a heavy load.
