You aren't joking there...I really like those engines...Seen a couple land cruisers with the 4.3 swapped in and dang, what a rush eh? Course, if money grew on trees and wishes were fishes...At least for me.

Exclamation

I finally made it up today. I think it was the tires which caused me not to make it. I put some 33x12.5x15 super swamper tsl radials on and it just climbed right up. I had the rear locker on, but not the front. I may not have even needed the rear locker. the ground was pretty dry, but about the same as when I tried with the mtr's. I think the super swampers are just better tires plus they are a couple of inches wider and sure clean out better than the mtr's.

I put the ad on craigslist because I boughtan '89 landcruiser a couple of weeks ago. I told my wife I would sell a vehicle if she let me buy it. We have five for the two of us as it is. I put the price pretty high so it wouldn't sell.

2005 avalon
2003 corolla
1995 tacoma
1991 turbo charged T76 mustang coupe
1989 landcruiser doesn't run but will get a 5.7 soon enough

I think that is what it was. The mtrs would fill up with crap and I would spin and the truck would just sit still as it spun.
These are the radial tsls, I would rather have the bias because I hear they last longer and are tougher. I got a good deal on a set of 5 used so I'm happy I guess.

I thought radials lasted longer, but bias are tougher?
