broken stud

Need help I have a two part question? 1st. have a broken exghuast stud am I
better off going with a one size bigger stud or putting in a helli-coil of the same size? 2nd what is the correct tap drill size for 10mm x 1.5 thread tap?

M10x1.5 tap drill size is "Q" (.332)
