BRO has diffrential armor for sale now. I have never seen it before. I assumed our diffs are tough enough but maybe I need to get some of this armor being they are only $26. Check it out! Diff Armor

Looks like nothing happens to it, its still exposed on the bottom of the axle. That plate only covers the front of the diff. I run armor that removes the drain plug altogether and replaces the round axle bottom witha flat piece:

And in answer to how you drain the gear oil? Simple, pull the two bottom studs around the 3rd member to drain it.
