I am about the buy new rims and tires.... a big day for any of us...
i am looking at the tundra rims (2003) we all know what they look like, anyways i have a 97 T100, ext cab, V6 SR5, 2WD- and i wonder if i will have any rubbing. I know a couple people told me know, but i also heard that you get a little rubbing on the tacoma's.... are my wheel wells larger, i dont want it to rub.
Let me know, i want to get these done before i go to the mountains in 3 weeks-perfect time to ware them in.

Tundra rims on T100
I think those stock tundra rims won't fit your T. I purchased a pair of the "5 star" type OEM Tundra/Tacoma rims and while the fit the bolt pattern for my 95 T100 4WD, the center cap would not clear the center cap on my front hub. You could of course, always run them without center caps or modify the center cap.

On the contrary, i put them on and they fit fine. No problems with the center cap at all, goes on easy, comes off easy. The only problem i had was picking a tire that was a little too big. It rubbed on full turns....so, i ordered a body lift and it is arriving this afternoon.
Should have no problems with clearance after the install.... its barely rubbing anyways.
Not sure why your setup didn't work. The only difference is that yours is a 4wd, and mines a two. Could be the problem i guess..... what else would it be???
