FJ100 questions
hey guys,
I was just wondering what the lift options are for an FJ100? also has anyone ever done an SAS to make it more trail worthy? basically is it possible to lift one and throw 35's or even 37's under it and make it a sweet crawler/trail rig? I know that most anything is possible, but is there anything out there that might be bolt on? except for the SAS of course.....
or is it just easier to get an FZJ80 and go from there?

Your 4runner will make a better rock crawler than an 80 or 100 if you SAS... Size and weight are not a good thing in the rocks.
80s and 100s are very nice though. 100s are currently limited to about 2.5" and 35s. Check out the 80 and 100 forums at i8mud like Yoda suggested. Tons of good reading.
Both vehicles can do some serious off roading if properly equipped. The 100 is limited by the IFS in the rocks, just like your 4runner would be. Depends what type of wheeling you want to do.
If you want a dedicated rock crawler, I'd build an FJ40 or mini
