When I first got my windows tinted, it had two little bubbls. It took about 2 weeks for the bubbles to dissapear. Don't worry about it, it will eventually go away.

I had my 02 Taco tinted this past summer at the Outer Banks of NC and the company used 3M tint. I too had a few small bubbles and they went away in about 2-2 weeks. Good luck..

yep like what everyone else said, the bubbles will go away in 1-2 weeks but it wont look totally right for a while longer, especially if the weather is colder. Oh and on another note, just out of curiousity, anyone know how do they tint the back windshield with the rear defroster wires? Do they just lay it on top or what?

Is it possible to tint the windshield? The reason I am asking this is because, the windshiled does not look right with the tinted windows, I don't need anything extremely dark but just something to go along with the tinted windows. Any ideas?

I got mine tinted in winter and it took 2 weeks just to get rid of the haze and over a month to get rid of the "bubbles". All depends on the weather (warm). But it will go away.

I just got my windows tinted, too, and have noticed a similar thing with my tint. The guy told me to wait at least two to three days before rollin down the windows. I did, but when it was at the dealer they tested the windows and rolled them down. I'm not sure if this damaged my tint because it's been pretty cold up here in Washington. I hope it'll be fine. I got 5% all around except on the front two windows which are 32%. I got the lifetime no-fault warranty, too. What brand of film did you all have installed?

I had my windshield tinted on my CRX. I had 5% all around and 20% on the front windshield. I got stopped for tint while crusing (this was my younger years), the cop held a big Mag light to the inspection sticker and said nothing about the windshield! The guy that did the tint did a superb job!
BTW NC Law:
35% +- 3%
6in windshield -or- ASI line what ever is higher
P/U trucks & SUV can have the back glass behind the front doors as dark as they want.

It is usually extremely hard to tint a full front windshield. The glass is different than the sides and rear and usually cannot be heated or it will shatter. The heating comes into play when they need to shrink-shape the tint to conform to the curves of the glass, and then to get it to adhere to the curves when they actually install the tint. Also state laws in most areas prohibit tinting of the front windshield except for a small sun visor along the top.
