I want OME but the prices seem high, where can I get the fronts for cheap? what the reecomdations for the rears? And with the OME suspesions, where did you guys pick up the diff drop for the front. just a reminder that my truck it 2wd. Thanks for the help

If your truck is 2wd then you don't have to worry about CV angles, because 2WD's don't have CV joints. You can go as high as you want almost with a 2wd because CV joints aren't an issue since you have no front driveline. CV joints are only used on the 4wd's for the front (kinda like a front wheel drive car). However if you go with OME or something like that, you are going to have much more lift than you need for those tires and your truck is gonna look funny because you're going to have a lift that is too big for the tires and it will look unproportional. What kind of wheels are you running i.e size, make, backspacing?

None other than a great chance to get bigger tires! Seriously though, If you don't want bigger tires, or a big lift, try preformance product's 1" lift springs. They're available for the front, right?

Maybe just a trusty old 1" BL after all.

Why I overlooked the 2WD reminder, I have no idea

I appreciate all your help with the lift questions. Since Im gonna be lifting the 2wd. and I dont want to change my rim tire combo. Its not even a week old. So what lifts would you go with? I kinda want to do more than just buy the performance products springs. Right now whats avaibale on island are the Revteck spacer lifts, the Daystar lifts, the downey coil lifts and the fabtech lifts. I also am running bilistens and not to keen on dumping them off to the side yet. The only reason I dont want to buy off island these place are cutting me dencent deals on the installs. I would do them my self, I dont have the right tools. And worst yet I live on a hill. my garage slants. I get nervors jacking the truck up in the driveway just to change a flat.

Isn't the Revtek spacer kit only about $300? That would be a viable option, right?

At this point it's all up to you, every product does what it's supposed to do.

The bad thing is I dont want to spend to much on the lifts itself. I like the extreme off road prices, but I cant afford the shipping. I can only imagine its over $100 to hawaii

The revtek kits was offered to my Installed locally for about $650. $300 for the kit and $350 for the install. I dont really like the retek kit becuase it only comes with spacers. I m leaning twords the Daystar because it comes with new bushings, shock boots (yah! hardcore look), and the spacers. 4wheel parts advertises the kit for about $280 somthing. But I dont got a install quote for the Daystar. I can imagine 4wheel is gonna be expensive to do a lift.

So my CV boots will be fine? No mater what lift I go with? Either being a coilspacer style lift. Or even a spring lift like from OME?

I bought 2 front shocks from Xtreme, shipping was $28.00, so yes shipping would be around $100. if you got shocks and coils. If you plan on keeping your bilstiens then I suggest just going with Cornfed 1.5" spacers front and rear.

If you have a 2wd you don't have to worry cause you don't have any CV shafts or boots. Lift away!

The other thing you might consider is to go to the Toy dealership and get replacement coils from a 4WD 4Runner. This would probably lift you at least 1-1.5", sine the 2WD sits quite a bit lower than the 4WD...
