What does "Tow Package" add to a 2nd gen 4Runner

I come across this phrase a lot in my ongoing hunt to come up with a 4 door 4Runner, but what does it actually mean? Does the tow package just come with a hitch set up or do they get bigger brakes, different differentials/gears, stronger springs?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

most likely it means theres a wiring harness connector near the rear bumper, an upgraded clutch fan, and you may or may not have a factory receiver hitch installed.
