What do you guys think of these headlights?...

I am wanting the headlights with the replaceable blubs instead of the whole housing to get some brighter bulbs. I found these on eBay and they look to be pretty good? I am not wanting to spend $70 on the hella ones so this kind thats on eBay looks like the next best thing?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33710

Thanks

I have them and they are great. Really bright but not too bright. Chek my page in my sig for pictures. They really improve the apperance of your front end too. Just make sure the ones you get are glass.

Awesome! Did you get them from the same guy? What bulbs are you running? I was thinking of some PIAA's?
Thanks for the quick help!

I'm running the bulbs that came with them. They are realy cheep but they are still waaaaay brightere than stock. The PIAA's would be a huge boost over the bulbs they come with but the also are a lot more dangerous for other drivers. I would try the bulbs they come with first unless they are going into a mostly offroad truck.

The cheap blue bulbs that come with most of these lights, and the cheap bulbs on ebay in general, are utter crap. The '50% brighter' claim is unfounded. They are for the most part '50%-as bright' as stockers! I have a shelf full of them, used for a couple weeks only in various lights on 2 vehicles. (HI, lo, fogs etc, we put projectors on the car and cool Navigator-style lights on the F150.) I finally invested in Piaas for both rigs. They do what they claim. Period. Bright and white. Piaas themselves are NOT a hazard to the others on the road unless you buy too bright a bulb (read: illegal wattage) or don't know how to aim your lights.

Be sure the lights have DOT and SAE right on them. Even the, it only means they've met the requirements for whatever legal mumbo jumbo, it does not mean they will provide a nice beam with good side illumination and not blind oncoming motorists,etc... Its truly buyer beware.
