Wet Okoles on a '96
I'm trying to put Wet Okoles seat covers on my back seat but I don't know how to peel the carpet away from the back seat. The fasteners holding the carpet covered board don't seem to release well. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Thanks!

If they are held on like the 2nd gens, it is easy.

There is a tool you can buy called a snap remover or something like that.
I actually made about 3 of them back in metal shop in high school many years ago from a template in Car & Driver, or some mag back in the 70s.
It slips under the carpet at the edges, and pops up the plastic plug.
I do not even use one anymore, I just grab the carpet by the side and give it a yank.
Sometimes the plug will pop out of the heavy cardboard backing on the seats, but you can slide it back in.
If one does pop out on you, you can take it out with your fingers or use some pliers.
Once you are ready to put the seat back together, you just push the plugs back in again by smacking the carpet down against the steel backing there.
