Don't do it it's been known to cause damgae to the Mass airflow sensors. It forces your truck to run richer burning out your cat and o2 sensors. I would never consider doing it.

I noticed you are from Hawaii from your SN of the "808".
I'm from oahu northshore. I have a 94 toyota pickup.
Anyways, have you heard about dynochips? I saw a AD in the newspaper about them. The guy said it'd cost 200$ for me to take out my computer, then he'd tweak it out, then I install it. They come to your house and what not for no extra charge.
Have you heard about them? Thanks.

Im not a fan of messing with the computers or ECUs maybe try to track down Gadget on these fourms. He's done some crazy things to try and squezze every little bit of juice out of his computer (I think it was Underdog Racing Developement). Like I said personaly I dont think any ecu should be modified unless your running a big ole Durmax desiel with a Banks 6 gun power kit. Thoes are the real engines that gain from messing with the ecu. Even some regualr v8 beneft from using the Hypertec Power Programers.
But don't fall for the crap found on Ebay saing you'll gain 20+ hp for $5.00 that product can kiss my @$$. The only resonable thing, and Im not a fan of it is sending you ECU into JetChip and having them remap it for you.
Yep, Im a fellow Oahu native. Life any local here in Hawaii, Im looking to go bigand bad on my Yota
