I have never used one. In my old truck i stick a second batteriy in, because everytime the turn signal was on the stereo would cut out. The runner is so far so good.

I saw somewhere on here that there was a box built behind the left rear panel.It's awesome place thats out of the way if you want to spend the time or money constructing a custom box.

The lights dont dim. I just got back from a night road trip. It all works pretty good. It might be a different story once i have my auxilery lighting hooked up.
