UK Runners...Hilux Surf SSR-G

Hey folks,

Just spend 10 days in blighty at my best friends wedding (I was best man)

I noticed several 2nd Gens badged as "Hilux Surf SSR-G".

Looked loaded...whats the spec and are they grey imports or genuine Toy imports ?

In short, they looked very schweet, whats the scoop ?

The Hilux Surf is an import from Japan. I believe the SSR-G is equivilent to our SR5 with all the options.

For some pics of a true UK Spec 4Runner visit this site.

My Site

UK 4Runners are very rare, but as you noticed look pretty good, the only thing that is missing is aircon (Yes it does get hot here sometimes)

Regards

You can make yours "look" like it's a surf by adding the emblems, hehe.

Well I have a good start Jason,

I have the TRD badge in the exact same spot.... and I removed
the other Toyota badge.

Are the genuine SSR-G and HI-lix Surf badges expensive ???

Yes, $65 each. They have to be imported from Japan and are special order. It takes about 4-6 weeks to get them if you want them. Unfortuanately, the Jaos sale I'm running doesn't apply to these, since they are special order only.
