U Bolt Size

Hey all. I'm all done with purchasing the parts for my 02 SAS except for one thing... I need U bolts for the rear. I am doing a pretty typical SAS (d44 waggy, Rancho44044 waggy springs, 35s, stock toyota rear, etc) How long should I get the u bolts once I get the lift blocks in. Also, what is the I.D. of the toyota 8" axle? Should I go with 5/8" or 9/16"? Anyone have any good advice on where to get these parts, I need them by the end of this month (I won't buy from 4 wheel parts, no matter the price... I took my axle in on Wednesday Nov. 3rd to get it regeared, and here it is, November 14 and I still don't have it back yet) Anyway, thanks guys.

Brenton

Measure and find out all the above dimensions. You'll probably find 3" axle tube OD. I run only 5/8" u-bolts on my truck, they are darn near bullet proof. I've had 1/2" AllPro bolts strip out. Stock size is 14mm - 9/16":

I run Rancho u-bolts, I usually get mine from 4WPW, but any place that carries Rancho will work.
