Hey Gang...hope someone has had this symptom so I can narrow it down. I have 97 runner with 110K, auto, 4x4 that has recently started hesitating on take off. It's hard to describe but almost like a momentary slippage. It runs fine otherwise as far as I can tell. The truck has always been babied and it has Amsoil gear lube in the rear end.
Any Ideas??

 

I had the exact same problem a couple of weeks ago, I checked the tranny fluid and it was low, then found a leak on the line that goes to the tranny cooler, fixed the line and refilled and no more problems , thank god.
