you don't want to go above the middle perch as that will worsen the ride by reducing travel and increasing spring preload.
just choose the second perch first and if it's a bit low, then you can go to the middle perch. from what i've read, the middle perch gives a 3" suspension lift.

REVIVE!
My 5100's arrived yesterday and my Tundra TRD springs should be here today along with my new spring isolators.
Here's my rig: 96 4Runner Ltd. V6, TJM T15 with Warn M8000. I currently have a 2" Cornfed spacer lift and a 2" body lift and would at least like to retain the 2" suspension lift after the 5100's are installed. I also have a diff drop kit installed.
Soooo, with that being said what recommendations do you all have on the spring perch for the 5100's? I've read middle setting and just above the middle setting but I figure that since I have a winch and T15 I need to go one notch above the middle.
For the rear I'll be running the LC coils and currently have OME shocks (will change to Tundra Bilstein shocks later).
It's mainly my DD but I do take the occasional trail when possible and no hardcore wheeling. I'm into expedition type wheeling and mild wheeling so offroad capabilities are a plus and it needs to ride nice too.
Any and all input is greatly appreciated folks.

We were having trouble with our spring compressor at work this weekend. Compressing the spring caused it to start bending in a U shape and not straight so I couldn't get the spring centered on the new isolator. I need to look into it some and try it again.

Found a great deal on Tundra (2000-2004) bilstein 5100 leveling shocks front and rear. I know the front will work on my 3rd gen 4runner but I am not sure about the rear. Does anyone know?
Seller took measurements and said approximately 24.5" fully extended and 16" compressed.

So quick question guys. Will the stock 4runner springs fit around the tundra adjustable 5100s? I keep hearing some say they will and some say they wont. I just want some confirmation before i start taking my strut assembly apart.
