I need to know about the Thermo install, but I think I found it by searching for thermostat before on this forum. Check it out!

I am running the TRD thermostat and a Hayden electric fan. The Hayden electric fan is thermostatically controlled. You can adjust when you want it to turn on. I also have it switched so I can turn it off on the highway.
I am currently putting together several write-ups including a thermostat install. I hope to finish them tomorrow night.

Hey Alan,

Are the write-ups going to include the Fuel Atomizer and heat exchanger? I hope!

Yes, Chris, it will include the Fuel Atomizer and probably the heat exchanger, too.

I can't wait to hear all about both of them. I'm ready to increase my gas mileage through the roof. Let me know!

THe heat exchanger is installed on my Escort. Ill be driving it to a job interview tomorrow. I drove it today to find out where the place is. It was an 80 mile round trip plus a few errands afterwords. Another 80+ miles tomorrow and I'll fill up and let you know what results I got on the highway.

That will be awesome! I want to do both on my 4Runner for sure. I've just got to spend the money for the fuel atomizer soon. I've spent a lot of money in the last couple of weeks, so money is running low to say the least.

I just got done doing a FLX-210 on a '96 with the stock thermostat, it works fine. (Great even!) The -210 comes with a thermostat, and like HaveBlue said about his Hayden setup, you can adjust it to cycle at a wide range of temps.

If you move to a lower temp mechanical thermostat, you'll just need to readjust the one on the fan to match the new temp range.

This thread is building mass with info about the fan install.
