Toyota coolant in old GM car?
I was wondering if there might be any bad side affects to using Toyota coolant in a '69 396 BBC? I don't want to screw things up.
Thanks.
Thanks.

not all of it, there aren't many high silicate formulas around any more. silicates eat away at the water pump, not cause acid erosion.
my toyota would've came from the factory with regular green stuff. i don't think it's worth paying twice as much as i do for coolant.
