Toyota 4Runner > Chevy Blazer

So, today is the second day of finals here at my school.

This mornign, my friends decided to take one of their Blazers into the woods behind the school. This was at about 7:30. Well, on their way out of the trail, they get stuck on mud. This was at about 7:45.

I walk into my second period class, which I was supposed to have a final in. One of my friends walks in, and tells the teacher Greg and Will wont be able to make it, theyre stuck in some mud. Me, being bored, decided to go investigate.

I go up there, and find another one of my friends, Brian. Theyre all trying to get unstuck.

I was driving the 4Runner. I turned her around, put her into 4L. Had Greg hook the tow strap (I know, I know) up to the hitch. Out we went.

On the way out, on the trail, they get stuck again. Again, Im in 4L, and I drag them out. THis time, I dont get out to disconnect, rather I just pulled them all the way through the trail.

So yea, this concludes that Toyota > Chevy. Yes, the Chevy was 4WD.

Besides using the tow rope, what did I do wrong this time?

Yea, someone deleted one of my posts. I had a short update in my General Tires review. I was reporting how they were doing in the mud.

EDIT: I read your post wrong. The reason is...Thats the only reason to post! It starts a convo!

Or at least, why is it that every topic you post people assume you are doing something wrong? You have a bad reputation around here, hahaha. My questions is, since when has Fitchburg High allowed people out during finals to go mudding????

Greg, Will, and Brian were up there before school started. When I left, I had nothing better to do, plus, I was bringing some students back. Plus, theres 1 day left. They dont care.

Next time, just park in your drive way and put a sprinkler under your truck and let it run for a couple hours. As for the mud between anything and the skid plate, stick the hose in random holes and wait for the mud to come out....

The pressure washer at the carwash always worked for me, that and a little effort.

ลลลล that's a really good idea!

Except...I helped my dad put in an inground irrigation system, so we got rid of all those sprinklers...

hmm...the guy across the street has one...

hey, just get under there and take the skid off, nothing like a little mud in your eyes! you would be surprised at how much mud can get between the skid and tank, a sprinkler will get the stuff under your rig but probably wont even touch the stuff in between.
