Looks great! Are those the Rockstompers? From the looks of that pic, you could use some lo-pro bumpstops now - take advantage of the discos.

Nice.. isn't it nice to have a good day of mods done...

BTW, how embarassing is it to have that big "GM" stamped on your aircleaner??

Not to sound ignorant, but what would be the purpose of sway bar disconnects and why would you want to disconnect them?

Swaybars prevent leaning. They are great on road but they limit wheel drop or wheel stuff off road. You want your tires to move into the holes and go far into the fender when you drive over obstacles. That way the truck stays as level as possible and the suspension is doing its job keeping the tires on the ground. If you do any hard off road driving with the bars connected you'll find yourself with a tire floating mid-air and a spinning tire that can't touch the ground.

Thanks for the compliments!

Cebby, Yup they are Rockstompers, had my buddy powdercoat them for free!! Where can you get lo profile bumpstops, and how easy are they to install?

Firefyter, what is that GM stamp? It's not like general motors is it? sorry if it's a dumb question, I just never gave that stamp a second look!

I did a write up in the tech section on it for my 2nd Gen. The third gen "probably" isn't any more difficult. The hardest part is getting the old ones off. Maximum of 1 1/2 hours, parts cost $21 +/-

Energy Suspension makes the parts - they are a universal low profile bumpstop. The part numbers are in the tech writeup also.
