slow to start
My 3.4 seems to need to turn over for a few seconds before it fires up. It always starts, and the starter motor seems to be doing it's job. Is this normal for it to have to crank several times before starting? (My 22re fires up almost instantly).
The 3.4 has new sparkplugs, fresh oil, and I cleaned the intake area.

sounds like a problem with the fuel or ignition system. next time try to let it sit for 30 secs with the key in the "on" position (to let the fuel system pressurize) before you turn it over. Let us know how it goes.

-I cleaned the gunk out of the throttle body and iac
-tried turning the key and waiting before starting
-battery is sitting at 12.80Volts after sitting for 45mins.
-battery is 750 cca at 32F.
Still doesn't fire up as fast as my 22re.
any ideas?
