Replacing the Starter

On my 96 4runner, I'm trying to get the starter out, which is the easiest? Dropping some of the lower exhaust? Or removing the exhaust header above it? I already got the tranny dip stick funnel out of the way. Thanks in advance!

Thanks man, thats what people with more than 50 posts are for

Anyways, I figured out a way to do it without removing any exhaust at all, I got it through the wheel well.

I keyed mine down the bottom by the stabilizer bar. Or, I should say my friend got it out with his smaller hands that way. Remined me of changing a alternator in a 89 integra.

You don't have to remove any of the exhaust. Go in through the wheel well.
