You might try a wrecking yard. The trick is getting all 5 pieces. (Bumper, 2 end caps, 2 side trims.)

i have a 3" bl so the rear bumper lines up with the frame almost perfect. bumper tubing wraps around and fits into the stock square cutouts in the brushwackers, stickers read 'mud makes me horny'...

I yanked a step bumper off of an older taco. It will do untill I can afford a custom made one. Looks good, looks stock, and its tougher than the POS that it came with.

the step style are stout
I have a chrome step style that came from an 84 2wd. I don’t know if it was stock or not but I have seen a few around town. It is now on my 82 4x4 and it is really tough. I finally bent it slamming into a tree stump backing up at a good speed. It hurt a lot when I stopped. I was stuck in a mud hole for two days up to the bottom of the doors with 33” tires 6-7” of lift (I was way stuck). It took everything a 404 mog with lockers and 40”tires could do to yank me out. Backwards was the only way it was guna happen so we yanked on the bumper with a 30’ 1.5” rope with all the mogs might. Just trust me those little bumpers are tough.
