Just checked. My Waytek catalog says $3.65 for the size that would work with 4 ga (.5-.79")

Here's one more question for ya'll. I can't mount my inverter under either the front driver's or passenger's seat because I've got my amps under each seat. I plan on mounting it in the back on one of the side panels, similar to what Corey did. I'd like to run about a 15' extension cord under the back seat and up to the front passenger floor board (right under the dash) so that we can plug in my girlfriends laptop on long trips. Question is, will the voltage drop on the extension cord be enough so that the laptop won't run? I just don't know how strong of an AC voltage these things put out. Plus, it's considered a "modified sin wave." Thoughts? Later.

BTW, there's another thread going about the delivery of these things. I have no idea when to expect it. It's already been seven business days since the order was placed and I've heard nothing on shipment. I called them today and they said it would be another week before they had them in stock (apprently the sell stuff they don't even have and don't consider it backordered) and then about 5 business days for delivery. I do not recommend this site (one in the link at the beginning). Find it somewhere else and pay a little more. At least you'll have it to enjoy. Later.

I just got the UPS shipping info email. I don't know what the woman I talked to today was thinking, but at least it's on it's way. Scheduled delivery is July 2.

I got shipping confirmation too... too bad it took forever, but beter late than never. Does anyone have any recommendations as to whether an alternator upgrade is in store for this...

This thread made me go out and purchase a 400W Motomaster Eliminator from Canadian Tire today. I hope to hard wire it later on this week and mount it in my cargo aread.
I liked this feature:

I installed my 1200 watt inverter today. I used zip ties and its hidden up behind my glove box.
I had a real hard time finding cable for it. Car toys wanted $6.55 a foot. Nah, went down to another car stero shop where i got my sub and amp and they hooked me up.
